We all know the feeling of leaving the office late at night thinking to ourselves: What important stuff did I get done today? Much too often we don't really have a clear answer. We had a couple of meetings where we talked about ongoing projects and typed a lot of emails about day-to-day stuff, but none of the issues that really matter were crossed off our to-do list.
Does that sound familiar? Office work is mostly the same wherever you go, so I bet it does. Wether you work in finance, marketing or banking these things happen everywhere and they stop you from being productive.
So was your day a total waste? No, don't be so hard on yourself. We all have these kinds of days, but if you have these too often you start to reach a state where you are active constantly, but not effective at all.
